Wesley was born and raised in West Palm Beach and accepted Christ at an early age. He earned a BS in Computer Science and Engineering Technology from LeTourneau College in Longview, Texas. While at LeTourneau he developed a heart for missions and committed his life to be available for any mission opportunity God presented. Wesley organized, led, and has traveled to China, Thailand, and Bolivia on seven foreign mission trips. After working for Samaritan’s Purse and World Medical Missions, he attended Appalachian State University where he earned an MBA with an emphasis in Operations Management. While a full-time student and part-time staff member at his church, he organized and led three short-term mission groups of college students to China.

To continue preparing for his missionary call, Wesley earned a Graduate Bible Certificate from Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina, with a hope someday of continuing on there to earn a Masters Degree. Following graduation, he returned to China once again to work as the Training Manager at the Xi’an Garden Hotel in Xi’an, China.

Prior to joining the staff at First Baptist Church, Wesley was the Business Manager of an engineering firm in Wellington.
