Pastor Larry’s Bio:

Larry has been following the Lord’s leadership on an exciting Spiritual journey from Oklahoma to Florida through Tennessee, Ohio and the Philippines.  He was called to ministry in 1982 and brings 30 years of unique experiences to 1^st Baptist Church in many different areas:

ministry; from the small town suburban church of 1^st Baptist in Bixby, Oklahoma where he was ordained to the gospel ministry under Dr. Odell Carpenter, to the mega-church of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee where he was licensed as a minister under Dr. Adrian Rogers.

leadership; which includes being an International Mission Board Missionary, Senior Pastor,Associate Pastor, and Childhood Education Minister, Extended Session Preschool Coordinator, and Outreach Leader.

knowledge; having four earned master’s degrees in Divinity, Education, Religion, and Leadership. 

Larry and family; with wife Patti, and children; Ashley, Stephen, James and Jennifer, have been an integral part of the life and ministry of 1^st Baptist Church of Royal Palm Beach since 1998.

He is excited to follow God in this opportunity to serve as one of the Associate Pastors here at 1^st Baptist Church of Royal Palm Beach in the amazing work to which God has called him;

reaching the Western Communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ for salvation,

teaching believers to live a life led by the Holy Spirit and

leading ministry partners to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
