Dan was born and raised in the Tacoma, Washington area, and moved to
South Florida with his family in 2006.
He has been involved in the arts since childhood, and found his love for music at age 12. Dan is a graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, and worked for ten years in the Sportswear and Screen Printing Industry.
He and his wife, Shelly were married in 1988, and have been involved in church leadership for the past eleven years, where he began leading worship at Puyallup Foursquare in 2000, a large church about 30 miles south of Seattle. In 2004 his family helped to plant a new church in the state capital of
Olympia . Dan served here as the Worship Arts Director until 2006 before being called to First Baptist.
Dan and Shelly have two children, Aaron, who is currently stationed in Bremerton, WA in the US Navy, and Holly who is a Senior in High School at the King's Academy in West Palm Beach.
